8 Days a Week

Working round the clock, twenty-four-seven, and eight days a week on one of Leicester Square’s most memorable premieres to date, to support of the release of THE BEATLES movie by Ron Howard (FROST/NIXON, A BEAUTIFUL MIND, APOLLO 13).

Digital activations included working with the partnerhship teams at Facebook to bring Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr live on Facebook from Abbey road studios and subsequently ensuring the video was optimised in newsfeed.

 

Box office no.1

 With a strategic tease and countdown strategy 24hrs beforehand I was able to notify fans who had visited the page previously that the stream was live, and thus secure a position trending in the top 3 trends on both Facebook and Twitter in less than 10 minutes.

Without the ‘live’ engagement around the premiere the film could have been perceived as a documentary best viewed at home, on the contrary however audiences turned out to cinemas and the film opened at no 1 at the UK box office.
